Overwater bungalows, turquoise waters and colorful coral reefs — honeymooning in French Polynesia is truly a dream. This 10 day itinerary covers two of the most popular islands: Moorea and Bora Bora. After arriving at the international airport in Papeete, Tahiti, a quick ferry will transport you to the first stop: Moorea. Spend 4 days chasing adventure, including snorkeling, ATVing and exploring the island in an adorable rental buggy. Things slow down for the second half of the trip on Bora Bora. Relax on white sand beaches, indulge in spa treatments and soak up incredible sunsets. Even though Moorea provides more opportunities for activities off the resort, we did enjoy swimming with sharks and stingrays and jet-skiing around the island on Bora Bora. I found that this itinerary provides the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation!

10 Day French Polynesia Itinerary
Lastly, in the spirit of transparency, we used a travel company to book our honeymoon. After doing research, the packages provided through travel partners were more economical than trying to independently book.
